Given that the water is much deeper in Elizabeth Harbour, it’s much easier to swim with the turtles and get photos with them here. You can charter a boat to get out there, or reserve a spot on a tour and let someone else steer you to the turtles.

It’s important to mention that despite however friendly the sea turtles are, do be respectful; while you may feed them, please don’t touch them. These are classified as endangered species so understand the privilege that it is to see them up close, and do your part to ensure others will get to experience that privilege in the future.

If it’s marine life you’re after, try Stocking Island, home to wild but very friendly stingrays and abundant starfish on aptly named Starfish Beach. Located nearby is a small, pristine island called Fowl Cay, which features a beautiful coral reef teaming with all kinds of aquatic life in just 15' to 20' of water. The island also has a spectacular and untouched beach, if you'd prefer to just relax or continue the party. Our Elizabeth Harbour excursion will take you there as well. Located just west of Staniel Cay, this fantastic underwater cave system is perfect for snorkeling, diving, and wading. It’s teeming with exotic marine life and a kaleidoscope of brilliantly colored coral reefs and fish, like yellow-tail snappers, angel fish, sergeant majors, and more. The grotto's mystique is heightened by its small, almost hidden, entrance, but your experienced guide will know the way. At low tide, hop in with snorkeling equipment to meet the creatures who call the grotto home. Diving equipment and deep water training is required at high tide. And while you likely won’t be alone, don’t be shy; your company may be visiting from Hollywood.

You read right. While the coastlines remain flawless, the private island of Big Major Cay play host to some of the world’s most famous four-hooved stars: swimming pigs! No one knows how the friendly piglets got here as they’re not native to the island, but they've grown in numbers and fame ever since.
